It was at a very young age that Franz found animation.
Now, he wasn't the only kid that was watching Bugs and Droopy
and the rest. But, he was one of the few that stuck to watching them
even while the rest of his friends were growing too old. Now he's stuck
living with all sorts of toons. To the point that it consumes his days.
I mean really when is he going to finally grow up and start doing a real
job. (artist's note: Just because I draw silly pictures doesn't mean
I don't have a real job. The guy who wrote this bio is just jealous.)
Well, these toons have lead him around this North
American continent from Vancouver for animation school to
his first jobs in the "industry" in San Francisco. Then back to the east
coast and North Carolina and then to New York City. Or to
be more exact, Brooklyn.
So, now he's living the life of a freelance animator/cartoonist/illustrator in the big apple. (Writer's Note: yeah, that's going to pay
the bills. Apparently he lives in some fairy tale land where little gnomes
create electricity for free and the refrigerator magically makes food.
(Artist's Note: I know that there is no such thing as gnomes that make
electricity for free. It's the squirrels on their treadmills. And of
course the refrigerator doesn't make the food. The Delivery guy does.))
On the following pages you will see just a few samples of the work that
Franz can do to try to earn the money he needs. So, if you want to learn
any more about him, you can check out his resume here. |
